As the heatwave continues we are asking our clients to think about their pets welfare after we have treated more dogs with heatstroke today.
The heat is so powerful it is affecting dogs left in houses and gardens, some dogs had not been walked in the heat at all.
We are emphasising this for all older dogs, obese dogs and the brachycephalic breeds (dogs with flatter faces)
If you do suspect your dog has heatstroke please contact us straight away.
